From Limon, Costa Rica, El JNGL was born with artistic ability that was recognized in his early years and encouraged. Since then, he has dedicated his life and ongoing education to the pursuit of his art and skill set. He is considered a post modern artist, drawing inspiration from pop culture, graffiti, fine art, American traditional & Japanese tattooing. He also credits music as his muse, as well as drawing inspiration from his own personal life experience and an apparent endless well of creativity. Showing proficiency in many different styles, at times it can be hard to follow his creative output which varies widely in style, tone, medium or surface. Now with more than 15 years of tattooing under his belt, many gallery shows, murals & live painting events in places like Los Angeles, Miami, Denver, Berlin, Tokyo & Costa Rica. Showing a maturing of his skill set he continues to pursue art with a current focus on seeking opportunities in South Florida.
